VILLAGE OF SPRING VALLEY TO IMPLEMENT POSS

Filed under: Customers, Press Releases — admin @ 9:04 am

The Village of Spring Valley has signed an Agreement to implement the Police Officer Scheduling System (POSS) in their Police Department. The Village of Spring Valley has been dubbed the “Hub of Rockland County” because roads from every direction lead into the Village. As they strive to make the Village an extraordinary place to live and work they are investing in a system to increase the efficiency in the police department.

The Spring Valley Police Department has 75 sworn officers that serve the Village. Although they had scheduling software, it was not user friendly or developed specifically for Police. “We made the decision to switch to POSS because we wanted software that would allow us to eliminate the paper and manual effort associated with time off, overtime and payroll tracking” said Lt. Rich Oleszczuk. “When we showed POSS to the Village, they agreed it would save them significant payroll data entry.” Spring Valley plans to expand it to other areas in the Village.

“Spring Valley is the second Police Department in Rockland to license POSS and we look forward to working with them to make it a major success” added Mike McGuire, VP of Business Development. The implementation of POSS will begin this month and is expected to go live in early Spring.
