TOWN OF HAVERSTRAW POLICE TO USE POSS TO IMPROVE SHIFT SCHEDULING AND PAYROLL DATA COLLECTION
The Town of Haverstraw, NY has signed an Agreement to implement the Police Officer Scheduling System (POSS) for the Police Department. “Currently, we spend an exorbitant amount of time with various paper forms and spreadsheets in order to manage the shift schedule and track payroll” stated Sgt. John Nugent “POSS will dramatically improve this process within the Department”
The Town of Haverstraw Police Department located in Rockland County has 73 sworn officers serving the Town of 43,000. They are the third police agency in Rockland County that will be improving Department efficiency with the implementation of POSS.
“I have had the opportunity to work with Police Departments in Rockland County for many years and look forward to assisting the Haverstraw Police on this project” said Mike McGuire (VP of Business Development). The project will start this month and is expected to go live by the end of the second quarter.
