EMPIRE INVITED TO PRESENT AT ULSTER COUNTY BRIEFING ON TIME/ATTENDANCE SYSTEM

Filed under: Customers, Press Releases — admin @ 5:27 pm

Today, Mike McGuire (VP of Business Development) was invited by Ulster County Executive Mike Hein’s Office to present an overview of the Time Force time and attendance system at a briefing that was held to introduce the County’s new biometric system. This system will be implemented County-wide in Ulster County throughout 2010. Empire Software Solutions is serving as the Project Manager for this project.

This is a challenging project because it impacts every employee in the County. In addition, like most NYS County governments, the work rules that must be set up in the software to accurately track schedules, accruals and overtime policies are varied and complex. The system is in the second week of the pilot phase.

“The staffs at Ulster County and Qqest have shown extraordinary commitment and willingness to put in the hard work necessary to make the project a success. Certainly, we still have work to be done but we are headed in a positive direction” said Mike McGuire.
