MONROE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE TO DISTRIBUTE ACCIDENT REPORTS WITH POLICEREPORTS.US
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office started 2010 providing online distribution of the MV104A with the software service from PoliceReports.US. They are the first NYS Police Agency to take advantage of this service which is at no cost to the agency and provides better service to the citizens and businesses they serve. The MCSO has used a custom built system for several years so they know the time savings online report distribution offers. The switch to PoliceReports.US will reduce the cost to the MCSO and allow them to expand access to citizens.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office located in Rochester, NY handles over 12,000 accident reports a year throughout the County. They join the over 200 police agencies around the Country that will reduce their administrative staff workload by allowing citizens and insurance companies to access accident reports online. They will see savings in labor, paper/printing and mailing costs while providing improved service.
“Although the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is our first NYS customer to implement the PoliceReports.US solution we have had interest from many NYS agencies. Several more are expected to start in the first quarter” stated Mike McGuire (VP of Business Development).
