Oneida County, NY has signed an Agreement to implement the Police Officer Scheduling System (POSS) at their Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Daniel Middaugh has led the Sheriff’s Office for 15 years and states “We look forward to the implementation of POSS as a way to streamline the time consuming process of collecting the information necessary to accurately report payroll information”
Oneida County Sheriff has a staff of over 420 full and part time staff, serving a County with a population of 235,000. “It is important that we have software that allows for the efficient capture of payroll data while providing a complete audit trail, POSS will do this for the Department” said Captain Richard Antanavige who led the effort to identify the software for the project.
“Oneida County is the second NYS Sheriff’s Office that will be implementing POSS and we look forward to working with them to make it a major success” said Mike McGuire (VP of Business Development). The project will start in December and is expected to go live in early 2010.
